Singapore Tour – Part 2: Gardens by the Bay

An Unforgettable Walk Through Singapore’s Most Iconic Garden

🌺 Introduction

Gardens by the Bay is a must-visit destination for any traveler in Singapore. With its breathtaking landscapes and futuristic structures, it offers a perfect blend of nature and innovation. In this part of our journey, I’ll walk you through our magical experience in this 101-hectare nature park.

🚇 Getting There

From Jalan Besar MRT/LRT station, we rode for six stops and got off at Bayfront station. It’s just a 5-minute walk from there to Gardens by the Bay—super accessible and well-connected!

🎟️ Tickets and Entry

You can grab tickets right at the entrance for the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome, both of which require a fee. But for better deals, book online—we used the Klook app and skipped the long lines!

🚶 Walk or Ride?

There’s a shuttle service available, but walking is way more rewarding. There are so many sights to enjoy along the way—it’s an experience in itself!

🛍️ First Stop: Gift Shop

Right at the entrance, you’ll find their gift shop filled with unique souvenirs and items you won’t find elsewhere. It’s a great place to grab some early keepsakes.

📸 Scenic Strolls

Even from the start, the garden is filled with stunning photo spots. Trust me, you’ll be stopping often for pictures. Walking really is the best choice here!

🏨 Marina Bay Hotel Views

Inside the park, you’ll get amazing views of the iconic Marina Bay Hotel. Perfect for selfies and wide shots—even without stepping out of the garden.

🎡 Singapore Flyer Sighting

You’ll also spot the Singapore Flyer, a giant Ferris Wheel similar to the London Eye and MOA Eye. Another highlight you can’t miss!

🌳 The Nature Walk Continues

The park is vast and beautiful. Even the Super Tree Grove looks deceptively close, but it’s a walk to get there—and totally worth it.

🌉 Over the Bridge

There’s a high-elevation bridge that offers great views of the park. It’s a scenic route to the Super Tree Grove and perfect for panoramic shots.

🖼️ Lakeside Figures

From the bridge, you’ll see massive art installations in the lake. They make for unforgettable pictures and add to the artistic vibe of the garden.

🌊 Fountains and Flyers

Crossing the bridge leads you to more fountains, views of the Flyer, and closer glimpses of those Super Trees.

🗺️ Easy Navigation

Getting lost isn’t a problem. There are clear signs and maps throughout the park. Everything is well-maintained, clean, and surrounded by lush greenery.

📷 Picture-Perfect Everywhere

You can even see the bridge where you started, giving you a full-circle moment. Every angle here is Instagrammable—there’s no bad spot for a photo.

🌌 Gardens by Night

At night, Gardens by the Bay transforms into a glowing wonderland. Lights and designs illuminate the area, creating a magical atmosphere.

🏮 Lanterns and Lights

Chinese balloon lanterns hang overhead along the walkway, giving a festive and lively vibe—even in the evening.

🎭 Moving Puppets

There are also mechanical puppets moving on their own—no strings, no handlers—just fascinating mechanics in action.

🕰️ Floral Clock

Right in the middle of the park, you’ll find a large Floral Clock, accurately ticking away in sync with your own watch.

🪑 Rest at Silver Garden

Even as night falls, the Silver Garden is bright and peaceful. It’s the perfect spot to sit, relax, and reflect after a long walk.

🐞 The Dragonfly Sculpture

Not far away, you’ll see a beautifully crafted giant dragonfly perched on a lone branch. It’s a great symbol of the Gardens.

🌆 The Grand Finale

The best part? A panoramic riverside view of Marina Bay Hotel—a breathtaking way to end your visit with a truly memorable photo.

✈️ Wrapping Up

This is just one part of our Singapore journey. There’s so much more to come! Stay tuned for the next chapter of our adventure!
